Under Rule 2.2.3R of the FCA’s Conduct of Business Sourcebook, Temporis Capital LLP (the “Firm”) is required to include on this website a disclosure about the nature of its commitment to the UK Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code (the “Code”) or, where it does not commit to the Code, its alternative investment strategy. The Code is a voluntary code and sets out a number of principles relating to engagement by investors with UK equity issuers.
The Firm pursues a number of investment strategies on behalf of its clients. Only some of these strategies may involve the Firm trading in single, publicly traded, UK equities. Those strategies employed by the Firm which may involve trading in such securities are implemented on a global basis, and therefore investment in UK issuers forms only a limited part of the wider strategy. Consequently, whilst the Firm supports the general objectives that underlie the Code, its provisions relevant to only some of the firm’s trading activity. Therefore, the Firm has opted to take a consistent approach to issuer engagement globally, and has chosen not to commit to the Code or any voluntary code of practice in individual jurisdictions at this time.
